Everett Piano Company had a long and storied history of building quality pianos in the United States, with many innovations in scale design and string tension. In 1983 Yamaha Piano Corp. took over the Everett line and moved manufacturing to South Haven, Michigan. Pursuant to a contract with Baldwin Piano Co., the piano operation remained in South Haven where this beautiful "short-studio:" was built with the characteristic solid architecure and rich finish the company was known for.
